Welcome to Annunciation Day School! Our ethos, “Centered in Christ, Children, and Community,” is at the heart of everything we do. We are proudly diverse, welcoming students from across the globe and from all backgrounds. Our mission is to create an environment that inspires a love of God, a love of learning, and a love for one another.

Located on Clairmont Road—just a short drive from downtown Atlanta and its surrounding suburbs—our campus offers a vibrant setting for our students to learn and grow.

At ADS, we provide a holistic education where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to thrive. From engaging academics in the classroom to a rich variety of clubs, sports, and community activities, each day brings new opportunities for discovery and joy.

Founded in 2002, Annunciation Day School is a proud ministry of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation. Over the past two decades, we have grown into a flourishing preschool and K–8 school.

At the heart of any great school are its teachers. Our faculty and staff represent a range of backgrounds from across the United States and around the world. Over 70% hold master’s degrees or higher, and all share a deep passion for education and care for every child. With small class sizes, our teachers are able to provide the individual attention and encouragement that help students thrive during their most formative years.

Our curriculum follows the Georgia Standards of Excellence, offering a strong foundation in core subjects such as Mathematics, Language Arts, and Science. Uniquely, all students also study Greek beginning in Pre-K, and participate in worship at the Cathedral twice monthly for liturgy and prayer—deepening both language and faith.

Beyond the classroom, our students are active in service and community outreach, from the Toco Hills Alliance to supporting cancer patients at Atlanta Hope Lodge. Through these experiences, children learn the importance of compassion, generosity, and making a difference. Our after-school programs are equally vibrant, with our Spartan Sports League—home to MAAC Division champions in soccer—as well as volleyball, basketball, and more.
