Summer Reading
K-3
Please see the reading list for K-3 HERE. Students K-2 should read at least 5 books, and 3rd at least 4.
4th and 5th
Required Reading:
Rising 4th Grade: Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
Rising 5th Grade: Because of Mr. Terupt
Reading Only:
There are no packets, written assignments, or comprehension questions required over the summer. Students are simply expected to read the assigned book.Pacing:
Students may read at their own pace at any point over the summer, but should finish the book before the first day of school.Engagement:
Students should come to school prepared to discuss the book, including characters, major events, and their overall thoughts.Purpose:
Summer reading helps maintain reading stamina, fluency, and comprehension skills, and supports a smooth transition into the next grade level.Recommendation (Optional):
Students are encouraged to read additional books of their choice throughout the summer to continue building strong reading habits.Battle of the books reading:

Please find the Middle School list HERE. They should read at least 3 books. Middle School are expected to do some book annotations. Your teacher will guide on this.

Uniform guidelines

The uniform is unchanged from 2025/26.
All students are given a House shirt in Kindergarten. Additional House shirts, that are worn for PE 3rd-8th, can be purchased at the school office.
All Classes Key Dates
Wednesday, August 12th @ 10am - Meet the teacher (K-8). Arrival in Carlos Hall.
Thursday, August 13th @ 8am - First full day of school and first day of Specials.
Friday, August 14th @ 8am - Full school day
