Mr Greenwood will be introducing our 2nd-5th grade students to Cricket!

This 7 week introductory course will teach students the core functions of the game such as:

  • Batting and running between the wickets

  • Bowling with a straight arm and a bounce

  • Throwing the ball around the field and the role of the wicket keeper

  • Terminology such as 4, 6, over, and LBW

  • Overall fitness and agility for the game

Like most Brits Mr Greenwood grew up playing the game at school and for his local village team.

When:

Sessions start Tuesday 12th March and run through to 30th April from 3.15pm to 4.15pm.

Where:

Down on the school soccer field. Pick up outside the gym.

Who:

2nd-5th grade. Boys and girls. A minimum of 10 students required.

Equipment:

Wear PE uniform and dress appropriately for the weather.
